Infamous stories of India Pakistan semi final fixed doing rounds

Some unpleasant stories for Indian cricketing fans are doing rounds on the news channels where it has been claimed that the biggest game of the ICC World Cup even bigger than the final has been fixed and team India will lose it as it has been fixed with millions of dollars are on stake.

Former Income Tax commisioner Vishwabandhu Gupta claimed it on a news channel that the game has been fixed and the heavy stake is on India which means that India will lose and bring in profits for the bookies. In the whole story, Delhi based bookie Pradeep Agarwal name has come up and was claimed that he was also seen at the team India dressing room in the India vs Netherlands game.

On the other hand, there is no need to tell members of Team India that the clash against Pakistan here on Wednesday is big. The expectation levels here have soared to astronomical levels, yet the Indian team seems insulated from all that. Part of it can be attributed to the captain, coach and senior players who know the fluctuation in the support of the Indian fans that accompanies unfavourable results.

The best way, according to them, is to simply shut out the outside world, including the media. Nothing said, no harm done.

As the Indians began preparation for the semifinal, their routine seemed in stark contrast to that of Pakistan. If their opponents huffed and puffed during the morning session, egging each other through loud cheers, the Indian took it like just another day.

The football session, which has become almost as important as batting or bowling practice, went along with the Indian players, excluding Harbhajan Singh who had gone to Jalandhar to meet his family, joking and stumbling around.

Virender Sehwag, who is still vary of his knee that had swollen up and has given him discomfort for some time, took the goalkeeping responsibilities, keeping away from the tumbles and tackles. He didn’t do much good though, letting in two goals.

Sachin Tendulkar was seen knocking a new bat into shape, later asking a support staff to hit as many balls as possible with the bat in order to make it match ready. By the end, Gautam Gambhir and Suresh Raina took turns to have a go with a Sachin bat.

After the cooling down session, the players took part in the batting and fielding drills before wrapping the session up. With a couple of more days to go for the epic encounter, all the fun and games are expected to be cast aside. The fitness of Sehwag aside, the rest of the team doesn’t have much issues and it will be only the details on which they would want to work on.

This would be the last World Cup for a few players from both sides and no one wants to go back empty handed and it is impossible to believe that players of standard as Sachin, Dhoni, Sehwag and Yuvraj would go into the ashamed activities of Match Fixing.

Why cant Yuvraj, Dhoni do match fixing ? Its not for money. Remember Ajay Jadeja was a prince. Its for the threat of death. Such is the fear of Dawood bhai. He runs a parellel govt in India. Dhoni may not need 1 crore but he needs his life. A few days back, a Pakistani cricketer ran away to London to save his life, because he didnt want to match fix and make his pakistan lose the match.

Hello Mr. Harsh .. Your Dawood bhai doesn't run any parallel govt in India, sir. Please keep such information out. Whatever happens in Pakistan, I am not bothered. Neither do I remember Ajay Jadeja or Azhar getting involved in match-fixing because of life-threats. Let's not spread rumors. The present Indian team has a much stronger element of nationalism in them and nothing illegal is going to happen in this match.

Its all people's fault that India's gonna loose this match. The over confidence of Indians is picked by the match fixers who will make sure the result goes opposite to what people think. So if you really love India then say it that India will loose and bid for Pakistan. Use your brain guys. Think like fixers.

Just flash-back your memory, Many old cricket players(who really played for India) didn't made money from cricket, but these new players made CRICKET as a BUSINESS, Every players is a CROREPATHY.

STOP TREATING CRICKET PLAYERS LIKE CELEBRITIES.

THERE ARE MANY MORE GAMES IN THIS WORLD, TRY TO PROMOTE THEM.

I am a Pakistani and condemn all news of match being fixed. Both sides know that they can not afford to loose against each other because of the media hype. No player would risk getting involved in match fixing in such a mega event. Pakistani and Indian players realize this and would fight till the last end. Lets enjoy cricket and not make it a war.

Good One, I dont think either India or Pakistan will do match fixing, as its a life time match.
Whatever happens, people will noice for 1 day and later they will forget. So rather putting all our energy into one thing lets think about the future of all other sports in INDIA. This is very important that we treat other sport with same interest and let them grow.

Where is the Vishwabandu Gupta now? he has to be sued by the BCCI after the WC finals. and the news channels have to be striped off their licenses.

This is a prestige issue for both of them. Why should they go for match fixing. Moreover the match didn't look like that also. There is no match fixing.Believe our players.

Both the Semi-final and final were fixed to please India, where cricket/ advertising is linked with billion dollar business. Also the IPL where all other nations' players to get a chance. May be for this favor Pakistan players will also get chance in next year IPL?
